This was the top of the line razor in the Hiddard and Spencer Catalog in 1890. Wavy Scales in perfect condition. Tang impressions are great. Steel is very good, Shave Ready

I'm offering this great Vintage Hibbard, Spencer & Bartlett & Co. 1890 Made in Germany Straight Razor.
The blade is sharp shiny and in amazing condition especially considering the year. Very nice ivory tang covers. Lettering is still in tact. The handle/scales is in very nice condition and are black in color. There's a tiny bit of rust where the pivot and the between the inlays. No sense damaging the mother of pearl trying to get get to it. It's an exceptional piece of history with a lot of character. Shave Ready. In addition to the mother of pearl inlays there is some ornate work done on the tang.

The Polished Blade is in Very Good Condition no chips or cracks .

Honed In progression From 1k through 12k and Stropped On a treated fire hose Linen strop and then a leather horsehide strop.
