Exceptional Vintage JR Torrey Razor Co. Straight Razor Shave Ready Custom 5/8

Exceptional Vintage Torrey Razor Co. Straight Razor Worcester JR Torrey was in business aprox. 1880-1963. The blade is in great condition for the age. Torrey tang impression is still clear. These were Sheffield England b;lades and notoriously good shavers.
This one has a new set of scales which are nicely done. Looks like a copper spacer and really premium pins and washers. The scales look like real wood but don't sound like wood. My guess is they're acrylic unless they are a coated hardwood. The blade is tight and centered and honed to perfection.

This is a really nice heirloom piece. Hopefully it ends up in the right hands and is preserved appropriately.

Don't forget to add a bottle or rust inhibitor oil and keep it dry so our great great grandkids have the same quality straight razor in 200 more years.
