Hoffritz was a US Importer. The blades were made by Dovo, ERN, Wusthof or Boker.
The steel is top notch and the quality is undeniable once you feel it in your hand. Fortunately the Hoffritz name is not so well known...so when you find one...you're getting an antique razor that slipped through the algorithms of high end razors that people are searching for.

Commissioned by Hoffritz and forged in Solingen, Germany, this mid-century blade was built for daily use, not display cases.

Shave Ready
This razor appears to either have a factory edge or a very light hone. I stropped it and is shaving. It looks like it had one owner who left it in it's original box for 76 years. Definitely a rare find.
