Know your allergies. Like everything in life some people are irritated by just about anything. Personally I get some redness on my cheeks from Witch Hazel. It goes away quickly so I'm not sure if it's a reaction or just the effect it has. I still use it regularly and I'm happy to report my face has not fallen off and I love the product.
