Vintage Geneva Straight Razor 6/8" Geneva, New York Ornate scales

Vintage Geneva Straight Razor that is 6/8" wide and made in Geneva, New York before the company changed its name to GENCO. The actual width of the blade is a hair less than 6/8" The Blade is in Great Condition and made of Stainless Steel Stamped "SS" on top of the brand name trademark on the tang. The Blade has been cleaned and polished to a mirror finish. The Factory Stamps of the Brand Name Trade Mark on the Tang are Excellent. The scales are fancy cream colored resin that have silver decorative bolsters top & bottom - the scales are off of a Ophir Gem. The scales have been cleaned and polished to a nice luster. This Straight Razor is Shave Ready. This is a Great Straight Razor hand forged in Geneva, New York. Geneva is a high quality well made straight razor and an excellent brand.

Prepared on
Shapton Glass Water Stones in 1000, 4000, 8000, 16,000, and finish on a 30,000 grit.
and finished on a horsehide and fire hose linen strop.
