This wade and butcher is in great condition. It's odd to find one with such legible letters on the blade face.
Has a sharp shave ready edge. Really good impressions on the tang. It seems like Wade and Butchers tend to lose their impressions. This one didn't seem to have much/any use. I taped the spine and went through the stones. It felt like a new blade. It is a wedge.
Scales are tight and centered. There are some cosmetic blemishes on the scales but they are original and horn and holding up just fine. No need to update them.



Shave ready, sharp razor.


Shapton Glass Water Stones in 1000, 4000, 8000, 16,000, and then stropped on fire linen hose and then horse hide leather.
