Don't let someone else snatch up this piece of history. Great heirloom piece. This blade was created around 1940. So 80 years and looks like it just left the factory.

It's damn near flawless. I just got it in the shop. I overpaid to get it and I can't really add any value to it. I didn't realize how thin the blade was at about 4/8-8/16...Its just too thin for me to re-hone. It has a sharp edge that is cutting hairs at a higher angle than I would shave with...I haven't even stropped it. I bought it because it's a very rare C-mon blade and I've never had one prior. I will sell it for what I paid for it or be happy to keep it in my collection. It's still about $90 less than comparable blades in worse condition.

I see guys dropping $200 dollars on a razor and then wondering why it develops rust when they leave it wet and don't take care of it. Stainless steel doesn't mean rust proof steel. Remember your blade can last HUNDREDS of years or a month. That's entirely up to you. Always...ALWAYS dry your razor after use.
