6/8 Vintage Restored DUBL DUCK - Special No. 1 - Straight Razor - Shave Ready

Beautiful! I'm really wanting to keep this one...but I forced myself to list it.


Gorgeous restored DUBL DUCK - SPECIAL No. 1 straight razor. Razor has been cleaned, polished, honed and waxed and is shave ready. Blade is super nice. Shank and tail have been re-blued. Light hone wear. Overall very excellent condition.

Blade width measure at just under 13/16ths, so 6/8ths+.
Razor length is 6 1/2th inches.
Blade grind is a full hollow.



Scales are brand new black/grey/white swirled plastic with nice stacked nickel silverpins.

You won't find a nicer Dubl Duck.

The Factory Stamps of the Brand Name Trade Mark on the Tang are amazing condition.



Finished on Shapton Glass Water Stones in 1000, 4000, 8000, 16,000, and finish on a 30,000 grit and Stropped On a treated Linen fire hose strop and then a leather horse butt strop.

Public Servant announcement. I HATE hearing people report back to me that their razor mysteriously developed rust (after leaving it soaking wet after shaving).
Please...dry your razor off and put some oil on it after each use. It's literally the least you can do and it assures your blade will remain rust free for as long as you live.
Wet metal rusts...it's just the nature of steel...but it is 100% preventable with minimal effort. I shed a small tear everytime someone tells me their BEAUTIFUL blade has rust on it.
