Nice tribute razor to the dark lord. If you've been in the market for a cutthroat with Satan's smiling face on it...look no further.

Blades in pretty good condition. Edge is shave ready. Clear impressions on tang, Scales are one of a kind. They do have a slight warp in them and I recommend closing with caution by hand guiding it shut. As you should do with any razor. This one just needs a little help. The pins are tight and all things considered this is a badass straight razor.

German solingen steel is as good as it gets.
Feels great in the hand, proper pin tension.


My restoration process is different depending on the needs of the razor. My honing process is a combination of J-nats and Japanese sythetic stones. Honed from 1000, 2000, 5000, 8000,12000 1600 and finished on a Nakayama Kiita J Nat. Then I assure the burr is remove stropping on denim, then a few passes on the firehose linen, and then finished on a latigo 3"horsehide stop.

Finally I sanitize the blade, polish to perfection, then add my rust inhibitor oil, wrap in wax paper and box.
